Unlock a world of endless possibilities and embrace your brightest future today!Job DetailsPay: $34.00–$44.00/hr.Location: Palo Alto, CAShift Days: Rotating schedule, Monday–SundayShift Times: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per weekContract: 13-week contract initiallyStart Date: October 26, 2026End Date: January 24, 2027BenefitsGreat working locationHealth insuranceRefer-a-friend bonusWeekly payroll24-hour accessibilityPersonalized serviceRequired EducationMinimum of 2 years of college education in Biology or a related field plus 3 years of experience in a life science or chemistry laboratory, OR 4 years of college education plus 1 year of laboratory experience.ExperienceHands-on experience with sample handling, quantitative chemical analysis, enzyme assays, or procedures with equivalent complexity.Experience with basic laboratory procedures such as weight and volume measurements of chemicals, reagent preparation, pipetting, and centrifugation.Experience operating laboratory instruments, including automated measurement instruments.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel beyond basic data entry.Ability to follow established laboratory policies, procedures, and protocols.Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to identify problems and implement corrective actions.Ability to accurately handle and process large volumes of laboratory samples.ResponsibilitiesPrepare clinical samples and products for testing, including accessioning, aliquoting, and processing, following laboratory protocols.Identify discrepancies or missing information and ensure strict adherence to written laboratory procedures.Set up instruments, including programming instructions, specimen and reagent placement, and labware, for automated laboratory tasks.Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, including reagent replenishment, cleaning, and other required maintenance.Prepare reagents for the laboratory and replenish equipment supplies as needed.Document and transcribe quality control measures, including environmental readings, equipment function checks, and isolation quality control.Maintain sample inventories, including receiving, processing, storage, and disposal of laboratory samples.Update computer databases for sample tracking, labeling, and storage while ensuring data accuracy.Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient, donor, and other sensitive information.Assist with laboratory workflow improvements, supply management, and other duties as assigned.About UsPower Personnel has been working with healthcare professionals like you since 1994.
