Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive environment dedicated to student growth. This contract role is located near Fishers, IN, serving a self-contained classroom at the middle school level. You’ll work full-time, providing instruction and guidance to students with mild disabilities. This is an on-site position with a consistent weekday schedule, perfect for educators who thrive in dynamic, collaborative school settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Indiana teaching license in Special Education (please provide documentation)
• Experience or coursework in supporting students with mild disabilities
• Ability to manage and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Genuine enthusiasm for working in a self-contained middle school classroom

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ learning needs
• Foster academic, social, and emotional growth in a positive classroom environment
• Track student progress with diligent recordkeeping and regular assessment
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and support services to optimize student outcomes
• Uphold special education compliance standards and best practices
• Provide encouragement and advocacy for students, promoting self-confidence and independence

This full-time assignment runs from ASAP through December 18, 2026, for 35 hours per week. You will have the rewarding task of helping young learners access the curriculum in new ways, championing inclusion and educational equity.
